The exact moment you wanted to be a singer/actor?
I watched ASAP in 2018.
Do you remember the exact moment you wanted to be an actor?
I’ve always said my first love was singing, but I ended up falling in love with acting. I started just two days after The Voice Kids, and from then on, I really began to appreciate the beauty of it. I guess that’s why I’m here today.
Favorite film growing up?
Finding Nemo or Cars.
Other than your favorite films, which actors do you still look up to today?
Up to this day, I still look up to Denzel Washington, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Brad Pitt. That’s my big three—but number one is really Denzel. Denzel Washington.
Are there any kind of roles that scare you in a good way?
I mean, there are still a lot of roles I haven’t done yet that I hope to take on someday. I’d really love to do a psychological thriller—they’re fun because it’s not just about action or anything like that. I feel like there’s already a lot of action out there these days.
Who is your favorite villain?
Maybe—can I count him as a villain? Denzel Washington in American Gangster. I love any Denzel Washington character. He’s technically the villain there—he’s the lead, but his character really is a villain.
But if you mean more superhero-type villains, I’d say the Joker. I know, it’s a bit basic—but I’ll take it. The Joker has a story, and everyone who’s played him has done it amazingly.
As a Gemini, what are your two different sides?
Highly compassionate but also loves alone time.
Your guilty pleasure?
’90s rom-coms.
What did your first love teach you?
Leave some love for yourself.
What is your guilty pleasure song?
Sometimes I like listening to American Boy by Estelle. People might not expect me to listen to that kind of music, but I do—especially when I’m out for a run.
Current favorite album?
Son of Spergy.
Describe your perfect day.
Run, workout, eat, spend time in nature, family time, ride my motorcycle—then eat, eat, eat, and sleep.
No. 1 rule you live by?
If you’re not doing what you love… what’s the point?
Things you always carry with you?
A gallon of water, earphones, a cap, and Sunnies specs/sunglasses.
