WHAT DOES SUNNIES 365 PROTECTION COVER?

Sunnies 365 Protection covers accidental damage to your prescription frame and lenses up to their full purchase price. Coverage is limited to functional damage that renders the eyewear unusable, such as frame breakage and lens scratches, bubbling, and peeling.

CAN I PURCHASE SUNNIES 365 PROTECTION FOR SUN, ANTI-RAD EYEWEAR OR READERS?

No, Sunnies 365 Protection is only applicable to our prescription glasses.​

HOW MUCH DOES SUNNIES 365 PROTECTION COST?

Sunnies 365 Protection starts at PHP 365, but varies depending on the final price of the prescription package purchased.​

I HAVE EXISTING PRESCRIPTION GLASSES FROM SUNNIES STUDIOS. CAN I STILL PURCHASE SUNNIES 365 PROTECTION FOR THEM?

No, Sunnies 365 Protection is only available upon purchase of a prescription glasses package in participating Sunnies Studios stores. Make sure to inform our staff that you wish to purchase Sunnies 365 Protection before checking out.​

WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF FILING A CLAIM UNDER SUNNIES 365 PROTECTION?

All claims must first be filed on our partner insurer’s online platform within 5 days from the incident. You will need to provide a clear chronology of the incident, photos of the damaged eyewear, and any other supporting documents. ​

Once submitted, you may visit any participating Sunnies Studios store, where our staff will assess the eyewear and claim based on the policy’s terms. The repairs needed will also be processed in-store according to our standard lead times.

HOW ARE DAMAGED GLASSES REPAIRED UNDER SUNNIES 365 PROTECTION?

Depending on the extent of the damage, broken parts will be replaced with new components, ensuring the eyewear is restored to functional condition.

Damaged frames will be replaced with the same model. If the original model is no longer available, it will be replaced with a comparable one.​

Damaged lenses will be replaced with the same prescription and upgrades as what is registered under your policy. Change of grade is only applicable under our 90-Day Guarantee.​

IS THERE ANY COST INVOLVED IN MAKING A CLAIM?

Sunnies 365 Protection allows multiple claims up to the full purchase price. In the event that a claim exceeds the remaining balance of your coverage, you will be responsible for paying the excess amount.​

ARE THERE ANY EXCLUSIONS TO SUNNIES 365 PROTECTION?

Loss or theft of the eyewear, intentional damage or damage due to negligence, unauthorized repairs, and cosmetic wear & tear are not covered by Sunnies 365 Protection.​

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I LOSE THE GLASSES? ​

Loss or theft of eyewear is not covered by Sunnies 365 Protection, and the original product must be surrendered to successfully process a repair.​

CAN I TRANSFER MY SUNNIES 365 PROTECTION POLICY TO SOMEONE ELSE?​

Sunnies 365 Protection is non-transferable and only valid for the original purchaser and corresponding product.​

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUNNIES 90-DAY GUARANTEE AND SUNNIES 365 PROTECTION

Sunnies 90-Day Guarantee is inclusive with all eyewear purchases. If you are not satisfied with the product, you may exchange it within 90 days of purchase. All items must be returned in the original selling condition with complete (stickers, tags, hard case, sac, etc) and receipt.​

Sunnies 365 Protection is a comprehensive coverage plan that insures your prescription glasses from accidental damage for a full year. This is available for prescription packages at an additional cost starting at PHP 365.​

WHAT IF MY CLAIM GETS REJECTED

If we determine that the claim does not meet our coverage criteria, or if there are concerns about the honesty of the claim, we will not be able to proceed with the repair. In such cases, we recommend purchasing new prescription glasses.​

CAN I CANCEL MY SUNNIES 365 PROTECTION POLICY?

Sunnies 365 Protection is non-refundable. Should you wish to cancel your Sunnies 365 Protection policy, a refund will not be issued.
